The Opportunity

This role is perfect if you're energised by working with mission-driven organisations, love solving real-world problems, and want to put your technical skills to work in the tech-for-good sector.

You'll partner with charity clients to understand how they work, design CRM solutions tailored to their reality, and guide them through implementation and change, building trusted relationships that last.

Contract: Full-time, permanent
Location: Hybrid — 2–3 days remote, 2–3 days in our Newbury office, plus occasional client visits

What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing and facilitating discovery workshops with charity teams that are collaborative, structured, and human-centred
  • Configuring and implementing CRM systems (primarily Beacon CRM)
  • Auditing data, workflows and existing systems to identify smarter ways of working
  • Supporting clients through the full journey: implementation, training, and embedding new ways of working
  • Creating clear, accessible documentation and training resources that empower clients
  • Building strong relationships with clients through project engagement and ongoing relationship management

What We're Looking For

We're more interested in potential and mindset than a perfect CV. Here's what matters:

Essential:

  • Hands-on experience implementing or administering a CRM system for at least 1 year
  • Experience working in or alongside charities or non-profits
  • Strong analytical thinking and confidence working with data
  • Experience in working with stakeholders to gather business requirements
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, jargon-free language
  • Solid working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
  • A thoughtful, patient and detail-oriented approach
  • Genuine curiosity and a love of learning

Desirable:

  • Experience with Beacon CRM, Salesforce, or HubSpot
  • Familiarity with process mapping or business analysis
  • Understanding of charity sector challenges (fundraising, volunteering, service delivery)
  • Experience working in an agile environment
